I am Michael and this  is Sparky, more on him below.

This site is just a place where I will post some photos, maybe tell a story or two, or or post some Rants, Raves, and Observations.  I will try and post some links to interesting sites, resources, and other mundane things.  I may even get a blog going, to talk about my views on the news of the day, business in silicon valley, movies, and other extraneous subjects.

My site will hopefully entertain, confound, irk, and otherwise pass on trivia and take up space in our virtual world.  Hopefully you'll find this more interesting than Sparky.

By the way, this is Sparky, my constant (and I do mean constant, it seems  :)) companion.  He is a 6-7 years old Queensland Heeler (Australian Cattle Dog) mix.  I adopted him in January of 2004, he was apparently brought in as a stray.  He's a pretty mellow dude, but also ingenious.  He's figured out how to open doors and gates.  He's a wonderful squirrel chaser and prefers chairs to his doggy bed.  He likes to keep an eye on me.  His main goal in life seems to be to see me do a face plant, because he is always sneaking up behind me and laying down so that when I turn around I will trip over him.  Anyways, he seems to get bored with me and the silly things I do, like working, quite often.  This is a typical pose for him.  Checkout his page here.

Also, check out the family, no capos, sorry, but we do have a princess.

Also, there is the beginning of a series of pages on various trips I have taken, where I will show off my skills as a photographer.

In the near future I will be posting more photos, links, and other material, stay tuned.
