For a birds eye view, here are some satellite images of Angkor:

The first is a view of the site oriented north to south, notice the West Baray and the outline of the former East Baray

The second and third images show the scale but also hints at the former waterways that supplied this city.  These images are courtesy of NASA, used radar satellite images of the region to help locate further archaeological sites.

Finally, here are several aerial views of the main temple at Angkor Wat, keep in mind you are only seeing the main temple, behind its moat, in the center of the man-made island.  These were found on the net and I thank these photographers.

The first is a view from the south, then a view from the west, then a view from the north.  Finally is a view from a hill to the west of the complex, which helps to get a sense of the size of the complex.
