Thailand

I made three stops in Thailand: 

Chiang Rai in northern Thailand, to soak up some sun, visit the near by hill tribes, cross the board into Burma for a short sojourn, and then to view the Golden Triangle, and see the opium museum.

Bangkok, for a bit of rest, to make travel arrangements to Kho Samui, and to celebrate Christmas and recoup after a week hiking around Angkor.

Then the wonderful island of Kho Samui, off the east coast of Thailand, about halfway down the Kra Isthmus.  This was the setting for the novel, The Beach, and is near the location of the legendary full moon party.

I did not take many pictures in Thailand for some reason, but I do have some video (I was learning about videography on this trip) which I will post as soon as I figure out how, and edit the footage into smaller bits.
